The fellowship section has big round tables that seat ten individuals. We moved 1 table off by itself to be the gift table. We covered this table with a smooth pink tablecloth; our niece has learned she is having a girl. We set the cradle in the center of the table. We made the decision to use our presents for the baby shower party decorations. I had obtained a pink and white infant blanket, which we draped over the side of the cradle. We pinned a number of rattles and other infant toys to the blanket with diaper pins. We then showed the little ensembles that my sister had purchased. We finished the baby shower party decorations for the presents table by placing a big teddy bear into the cradle. It is so much fun to decorating for a baby shower!

For the food service table we had an array of freshly cut flowers from the community florist. She used silky pink carnations, baby's breathe and daisies for the collection. We determined that no other baby shower party festive decorations needed to be put on this table. We did have pink napkins that we put on this table, together with a cake that was festooned with a stork holding a little doll in a pink frosting blanket.

We had also gotten a corsage for our niece and one for every of the new grandmas to be. We felt that the room looked very good and we would not have to spend a whole lot of time cleaning up baby shower party decorations due to the fact that they would all be sent home as presents to our niece.

We had a great turn out for the baby shower party. My niece got quite a few very nice presents. She was glad that we had the baby shower in a space that was not small. As she progresses with the pregnancy she is feeling more claustrophobic. Within 30 minutes after the baby shower party was over the fellowship area was cleaned up and we were going home.
